Joe Flacco Revenge Tour?

Hello everyone!

Hoping everyone had a good Memorial Day Weekend and remembered to thank our nation’s heroes for their sacrifices.

As we all went about celebrating a long weekend while in the midst of states reopening stages and some sense of normalcy returning to our lives, the New York Jets were busy stocking up on their options to show that this year may be their year.

At around 3:30PM EST, the New York Jets and Joe Flacco agreed to a one year contract worth $1.5 Million dollars. The deal can potentially be $4.5 million with certain incentives.

This story seems to be the one that no one really paid much attention to at all. But think about this, Joe Flacco leaves the Denver Broncos after a season that ended short due to a herniated disc. Flacco underwent neck surgery just last month and could be potentially cleared by September, just in time for the start of the Football season.

Ravens Super Bowl history: Two appearances, two wins - Baltimore ...

Although he is now 35 years of age and may have possibly 2-3 seasons left in the tank, lets not forget the talent that Joe Flacco brings to the Jets. As a patriots fan I can personally say, I am more than ready to see this football season unveil. There is so much talent all around the league this year.

Flacco brings experience to the table. People like Sam Darnold and drafted QB James Morgan can learn a ton from Flacco. He also brings the knowledge of having been in a Super Bowl. The man knows what it takes to get there. But, he also now possesses at the palm of his hands a very lethal arsenal on his team. Players like LeVeon Bell and recently signed Frank Gore are a great start. By the way I’m sorry, but at the age of 37 Gore can still ball hard. There’s also Josh Malone, Jamison Crowder, a highly motivated Demaryius Thomas who at the age of 32 believes his retirement is still a long way, and honestly the list goes on. Let’s not forget the Jets also took some excellent picks this year in Mekhai Becton, Jabari Zuniga and Denzel Mims.

Flacco is also an amazing presence to have in the roster. Last year, the Jets were 6-2 with Sam Darnold in the fold. When he had mono, the Jets couldn’t hold their weight and struggled. Meanwhile, Flacco last year threw for 1,822 yards and six touchdowns with five interceptions last year.
