Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week Six

Welcome back to another waiver wire addition piece that you need to know heading into week number six. There are a plethora of solid options that we will discuss this week that are available on the majority of waiver wires. With that being said here are three names that you should try to acquire via the waiver wire heading into week number six.

Darrel Williams

Darrel Williams is going to be the number one waiver wire addition this week. The first reason is he will become the starting running back for the Kansas City Chiefs offense. He is a solid pass catcher out of the backfield and he can help Mahomes open up the field. Reason number two is that the Chiefs desperately need some help on offense. Kansas City needs someone to help Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Opposing teams are starting to let Kelce cook, but doubling Tyreek Hill contains him from doing anything crazy.

When CEH was producing, the opposing defense had to think about stopping the run. Now-a-days the only thing that opposing defenses need to do to stop Kansas City is contain Tyreek Hill. Williams is only owned in 7.5 percent of fantasy leagues on ESPN, but I think he can be a beneficial piece to the Chiefs offense moving forward. They need a spark and Darrel Williams can be that spark that they desperately need.

Rhamondre Stevenson

The Patriots backfield took another hit last week with Damien Harris leaving on two separate occasions. Stevenson is owned in less than six percent of leagues and is a must add in all formats. With the amount of volume that Stevenson will get as their number one running back. I believe it is safe to say that he will be a solid RB2 for the foreseeable future. We saw how good he could be in the preseason and now is the time for him to shine. He is a powerful runner and a reliable receiver out of the backfield. Look to grab Stevenson off of the waiver wire in any league you can.

Kadarius Toney

Toney is the only bright spot of this New York Giants offense right now in real life and for fantasy. Toney saw double digits targets last week and his workload will only get bigger with the amount of injuries the Giants have going right now. For owners though, Toney will need to be able to keep his cool in order to be successful. He was ejected from last week’s game for throwing a punch. The volume is there for Toney with the amount of injuries that the Giants have to not only their receiving core, but to their entire offense as a whole. Add Toney off the waiver wire as the upside is there due to the volume that he’ll get.

DEEP SNAG:

Marlon Mack

Marlon Mack’s names have been rumored around in trade talks as of late. Mack is a solid running back that has the capability to start on any team that needs a starting running back. With some of the injuries to running backs on teams, Mack could easily work his way back into a starting role. Take a chance on Mack on the waiver wire if you need someone to fill out your bench for now while bye weeks start to loom.
