Fantasy Football Preview: Thursday Night Football Dallas vs Tampa Bay

Fantasy football is about to be underway and the world is rejoicing in excitement. Today I am going to be talking about the fantasy football matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the defending Super Bowl Champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I will be telling you who to play, who to keep an eye on this week and who to avoid at all costs. With that being said here is my preview for Thursday night’s matchup for fantasy football.

MUST PLAY:

Chris Godwin

Chris Godwin had a interesting year last season. He missed a couple of games due to injury, but when he was on the field he was a must play. This opening matchup is a must play for Chris Godwin. I have him as my WR10 this week for fantasy. Dallas’ secondary is atrocious and I think Godwin is going to have an absolute field day on Thursday night. Godwin is a must start this week in all formats.

Prediction: 7 Receptions 120 Receiving Yards 1 TD

Others To Play:

Ceedee Lamb:

I think Ceedee is going to take a big step forward this season and it all starts in week one. Lamb is going to be a player that you play this week. Tampa’s secondary is solid, but I think Lamb gets at least 15 fantasy points in week number one.

Tom Brady:

Brady is a quarterback that you should start in all formats this week. He is my QB5 this week and I think he is going to start off year two in Tampa Bay on a great note. The matchup for Brady is an easy one in my opinion. If Brady gets time to throw he is going to put up some serious numbers in week number one. Brady will put up over 300 passing yards and 3 touchdowns in week number one.

Keep An Eye On:

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is a guy that I am very high on this season. I think he is going to be one of the best flex players in the league. Brown and Brady have great chemistry and if they have a full season of playing together, they are going to put up some numbers. This week I have him as my WR25, but I think he could go higher than that when the week is over. Look for Brown to have anywhere from 5-7 receptions and anywhere between 70-90 receiving yards as well. I am definitely keeping my eye on AB in week one.

Avoid:

Michael Gallup

This is an easy avoid for me as I am avoiding Michael Gallup in all of my leagues this week. Gallup is listed as my WR46 for the week. I just don’t like this matchup for him. Ceedee and Cooper will have solid games in my opinion, but Gallup will struggle to get open this week. I would avoid playing him at all cost this week as I think he barely gets 6 fantasy points this week.

Other Fantasy Predictions:

Ezekiel Elliott: 62 rushing yards, 24 receiving yards & 1 Touchdown. RB12 this week for me.

Dak Prescott: 300+ passing yards 2 total touchdowns. QB8 this week for me.

Mike Evans: 55 Receiving Yards 1 touchdown. WR13 this week for me.
