Fantasy Football Preview: Los Angeles Vs Kansas City
Week three Sunday slate of games for fantasy football is closer than you realize. We have an exciting matchup to discuss with you today and that is the between the Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. This AFC West matchup is going to be a must watch in a lot of different aspects. Both offenses are going to be very good and I expect big fantasy numbers for a lot of guys this week. With that being said here is my fantasy football preview for this AFC West matchup.
Must Play:
Keenan Allen
Keenan Allen is a must play this week against this Chiefs defense in week three. Kansas City’s secondary is going to be on the ropes in this matchup and we have seen Allen be a solid fantasy option already this season. Allen has gotten eight or more targets in both games this season. He also has 100+ receiving yards in each game as well. Allen is going to need a touchdown this week to get some serious upswing in his fantasy numbers.
With that being said this is the matchup for him to do so. In his last four games that he has played against the Chiefs he has had 10+ targets in all four of those games as well. He also has three touchdowns in those games as well. Allen is a must play here and expect him to get back into the top ten this week for wide receivers fantasy wise.
Prediction: Allen finishes as WR7 this week for me.
Avoid:
Chargers/Chiefs Defense
Both defenses are going to struggle in week number three. This matchup will be very high scoring on both sides and I truly believe both defenses are seriously unplayable this week. I have both defenses finishing outside of the top 25 this week. Do yourself the favor and find a defense to stream if you have either of these defenses in week three.
