Fantasy Football Preview: Jacksonville vs Houston
This matchup might not wow you fantasy football wise, but it has some potential. We are talking about the matchup between Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars going up against Tyrod Taylor and the Houston Texans. Not a lot of hype fantasy wise, but there are players to play and players to avoid. With that being said here is my fantasy football preview for this game.
Must Play:
James Robinson
James Robinson has a lot of things going for him right now. His competition for the carries that he was going to get is out for the season with an injury. Also he has a very favorable matchup this week against the Texans. Robinson is my RB9 this week and I think he will finish as a top ten running back this week. He has some potential to end up in the top five if things go according to plan. I do think Robinson finishes in the top ten this week, he will be a big security blanket for the rookie quarterback in his first ever start.
Predictions: 76 rushing yards, 5 receptions 45 Receiving Yards and 2 Total Touchdowns.
Keep An Eye On:
Nico Collins
Nico Collins is a name that people need to start getting acquainted with. Collins is the Texans WR2 and could have some serious upside fantasy wise this season. He is giving me the Keke Coutee vibes from a couple seasons back. Breakout game incoming and immediately gets added via the waiver wire immediately. Collins is owned in only 4.4 percent of leagues on ESPN right now. Keep an eye on him because after he shows out this week, the percentage of him being owned will skyrocket.
Avoid:
Houston Texans Running Backs
Listen the Texans running back core is so hard to see who is going to get the carries. Phillip Lindsay, Mark Ingram and David Johnson are all fighting for carries on this team. I just don’t know what direction they will go for who will get the bulk of the carries here. I think all three running backs have a chance to make an impact. We should find out where the carries will go after this week. For now you avoid all Houston running backs in fantasy this week.

Brandin Cooks: 5 Receptions 88 Receiving Yards. and a touchdown. WR29 this week for me.
Laviska Shenault: 6 Receptions 65 Receiving Yards, and a touchdown. WR32 this week for me.
Trevor Lawrence: 255 Passing Yards and 2 touchdowns. QB20 this week for me.
