Fantasy Basketball: Daily Fantasy Lineup 10/20/21
Fantasy Basketball is here and I am giving you the content that we need tonight. I am putting together a lineup for FanDuel and I am going to try and help you win some money. I entered a three dollar contest that allows me to spend $60,000 to put together a lineup. The lineup consists of two point guards, two shooting guards, two small forwards, two power forwards, and one center. With that being said here is my lineup for tonight’s daily fantasy basketball slate.
Point Guard: De’Aaron Fox $8500
De’Aaron Fox is going to ball out this year. I expect big numbers from him this year and I think tonight will be the start of it. He takes on Portland and in his career he has solid numbers against them. Averaging seveteen points per game, four rebounds per game and seven assists per game in his career against the Blazers. Fox is known for his hot starts to start off the year and I think we will see a solid outing from Fox for our lineup. Let’s start up the wagon for Fox because he is going to need more seats on his bandwagon after this year.
Point Guard: LaMelo Ball $7600
LaMelo Ball was an absolute baller last year when he was on the floor. Tonight they take on the Pacers and last season he averaged twelve, five and six in those two games. Ball is the franchise of the Hornets and we will see him take his game to the next level in year number two. Tonight will be the start of it all as I expect LaMelo to flirt with a triple double tonight. Lock in LaMelo for tonight’s slate of games.
Shooting Guard: Jordan Clarkson $5200
Jordan Clarkson is the reigning sixth man of the year and will look to continue his success in 2021-2022. Clarkson had double digits in scoring in all but four games last season. Utah is looking to bounce back after their playoff disappointment. Tonight against the Thunder will be the start of their revenge tour. Clarkson at this value for daily fantasy is a must take every single time.
Shooting Guard: Anthony Edwards $7600
Anthony Edwards has some serious potential to double down on the success that he had in year number one. Edwards has solid numbers in his career against the Rockets as well. He is averaging 19.3 PPG to go along with 6.3 RPG. Edwards ended last year on a good little stretch and now in year number two he is going to blow up as a sophomore. Look for Edwards to start year two off with a bang and I would play him in multiple fantasy leagues tonight.
Small Forward: R.J. Barrett $6500
RJ Barrett averages over 20 points per game in his career against the Celtics. In his career in the first game of the season he is averaging 23.5 PPG to go along with 6.5 RPG. I think he continues his dominance of opening night and has a game against the Celtics. Boston defensively struggled a season ago and I think the struggles continue to start off the season on the defensive end. Look for Barrett to take advantage of that and start the season off on a right note.
Small Forward: Kevin Porter Jr. $6100
Thanks FanDuel for this one. Having Porter Jr getting small forward eligibility is a steal in my opinion. We saw late last year the potential that this young guard has. Now that he is going to be the starter for the entire season, I expect his numbers to sky rocket. Kevin Porter Jr has had some success against the Wolves in his career. He put up a twenty plus point perfromance against them in March last season. Look for KPJ to start opening night how he finished last season with some serious momentum moving forward.
Power Forward: Jaren Jackson Jr $7000
Triple J is finally fully healthy and I can’t wait. Jaren Jackson Jr is going to be a front runner for most improved player this year. He is going to take the league by storm now that he is fully healthy as well. Jackson Jr. will be a matchup nightmare for anybody in the Cavaliers front court tonight. Memphis has some buzz around them and I can’t wait to see him at full strength tonight. Look for Triple J to dominate that Cavs front court.
Power Forward: Kyle Kuzma $4700
Kyle Kuzma’s fantasy value is at a high so high it reminds us how high he was in fantasy his rookie season. He will be in the starting lineup for the season opener against the Raptors. I expect big numbers tonight from Kuzma to show everybody how much we should believe in him moving forward. He got put in a bad situation with the Lakers and now that he is going to get consistent minutes on a team like Washington I think his usage and numbers go up. Look for Kuzma to put up close to a double double tonight.
Center: Jonas Valanciunas $6500
Jonas Valanciunas is getting the start with a new team tonight. He will be not playing alongside Zion tonight which I think gives him more touches to be honest. Valanciunas will go up against Embiid tonight which he has some success against in his career. In seven games playing against Embiid, he has averaged close to sixteen and eight a game which is a solid stat line against a guy like Embiid. Love Valanciunas as my center tonight and I think he is going to put up some big numbers this evening.
