Edelman & Gilmore Were Ejected From Practice Today After a Fight

The dog days of training camp have officially begun in New England. Julian Edelman and Stephon Gilmore reportedly went at it after an incomplete pass in the end zone during a drill this morning.

Apparently, the fight got far enough where both players helmets were ripped off and they were wrestling on top of each other. Both of them ended up getting ejected from practice. Sadly there isn’t any video yet, but hopefully, we’ll get something soon.

I can’t even imagine how frightening getting into a fight with Edelman must be. We’ve seen him get in scraps before, and he’s the type of guy who would probably rip your head off if he had the chance. The man is crazy and I love it.

This kind of stuff happens all the time during training camp, so it really shouldn’t be anything to worry about. It’s hot outside, dudes are running at each other with pads on, and one thing leads to another then bam next thing you know two guys are ready to rip the other’s heads off over nothing.

According to WEEI, Chris Hogan was one of the first players to break the fight up. WEEI also quoted him saying “Yeah, I mean it’s a hot day. Guys are competing. Tensions run high, but at the end of the day, those guys will shake hands. It will be over with.” He is 100% right in saying all of that. These two will probably kiss and make up before we know it.
