The internet is a buzz tonight as Dogecoin has surpassed $.30 a coin. The “meme currency” has been surging all week and casual investors have taken notice.

Traders are laser focused on seeing Dogecoin get to $1.
Earlier this week, Coinbase debuted on Wall Street and investors dumped more money into Dogecoin in anticipation. In addition to Dogecoin, all other cryptocurrencies began to see all-time highs.
Despite the fact Coinbase has helped drive the surge in Dogecoin, Elon Musk also once again helped drive the cryptocurrency.
On Wednesday night he would tweet, “Doge Barking at the Moon”, which received 39k retweets and 249k likes.

Every time Musk tweets about Dogecoin, the people react and invest more into the meme coin.

There seems to be cap to how high Dogecoin can go as there is an infinite supply of Dogecoin. While many experts say Dogecoin will never get as high as Bitcoin, the daily surges are exciting to see and talk about.
According to the website Prime XBT, they predict Dogecoin will hit $1 by 2025. The thought of waiting another four years to see the meme currency reach that goal, investors will continue to invest and defy the odds.
Earlier in the week, Dogecoin broke $.12 for the first time ever. If Prime XBT is right, anyone who invested in Dogecoin when it was $.01 will be extremely happy in four years. Until then, that seems like an eternity to wait.
However in the meantime, Prime XBT thinks that $.40 could be obtainable for Dogecoin this year.
