Do Not Get To Hyped Over The Celtics

As amazing as the Celtics have been playing over the last month, I still am not fully all aboard the hype train. Yes the C’s have won 16 straight games, but what will that get them? The Indians in the MLB went on a crazy win streak and they did not even make it out the first round of the playoffs. All I am saying is that I want to see the Celtics keep this up all season. They do not have to go on crazy long win streaks, but I want to keep seeing the role players perform and do their job.

I know Kyrie will do his thing all season, but the rest of the players are some what unproven. We have never seen any of the other players on this Celtics team consistently perform well over a season. I know I will get a lot of backlash over this because the Celtics are just playing on another level right now, but we shall see if they can keep it up. I would absolutely love to see them keep performing like they have been for the remaining of the season, but I am just not going to get my hopes up this early in the season.
