Could The Red Sox Be Going After Todd Frazier

A new report out is that the Red Sox are interested in White Sox pitcher Jose Quintana as well as other members of the White Sox. To me that has to be Todd Frazier because that would make almost to much sense especially with the current situation at third.

If these rumors are true and Dombrowski is planning to bring in the Todd father i’m not sure how i feel about it. Frazier is batting .187 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI’s. At the point if that continues and unless we are able to get him for close to nothing, I would rather stick it out with Panda, Rutledge and Hernandez at third. Thats of course if Pablo can stay healthy.

As for the Quintana possibility, love it unless we have to over pay to get him. It would definitely include a haul of prospects and most likely a MLB ready player. To me that might be hurting the Sox more than helping them due to the lack of depth at third base.

I would love to see them pull this off at the right price and to this point it seems to be a good chance that Dombrowski will over pay. Then again it is still only a rumor so lets just wait to see if it eventually picks up steam.
