Liberty(-7) At Rutgers
No this isn’t what I meant by the marquee matchup, but this one is almost a full guarantee. Rutgers has been abysmal. Absolutely terrible in all facets of the game. Liberty is coached by former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze, and they should be leaving New Jersey with a win. This isn’t really about what liberty does well, it’s just that Rutgers does nothing well. NOTHING.
The Pick: Liberty Covers
Texas(-1) At TCU
I never try to pick with my heart, but deep down I know Texas is winning this game. After a terrible showing against Kansas at home, Sam Ehlinger will lead his troops in a comeback effort. While the Longhorns defense is one of the worst in program history, TCU hasn’t been all the great on offense. In the end, Sam Ehlinger will make too many plays for Texas and the defense will force a couple of timely turnovers.
The Pick: Texas Covers
Wisconsin At Ohio State- O/U 49.5
Hammer that over baby. Ohio States’ lowest point total this season was 34 and that came against a stout Michigan State defense. Wisconsin is completely one dimensional with Johnathan Taylor as the feature of the offense, but they’re good enough to put up a couple of scores. Both these teams have a pair of the top defenses in the country, but neither has seen an offense like the other. When in doubt go offense. Plus it’s no fan to bet the under.
