College Football Week 10 Safe Bets

Another week to lose, er, make some money. Let’s put that money down together.

NC State At Wake Forest(-7.5)

Wake Forest has quietly been the second best team in the ACC this year. They’ve done it by exploding on offense, to the tune of 37.1ppg. Wide receiver Sage Surratt has been one of the more dominant wide receivers this year. Wake will continue their ACC title push with a two score win over the Wolfpack.

The Pick: Wake Covers

Georgia(-6.5) Vs Florida

The world’s largest tailgate is always a great game. After Georiga’s loss to South Carolina, people were ready to write them as playoff contenders. That’s ridiculous. Georgia is still one of the best teams in the country, and they’ll be looking to exert their force on the Gators. Georgia has been dominant against the run this year, so Kyle Trask will have to bear the full load if the Gators want to win.

The Pick: Georgia Covers

TCU At Oklahoma State(-2.5)

I never know where to go with these mid-tier Big 12 games. What I do know this week is that Gary Patterson’s defense will force the freshman quarterback Spencer Sanders into several turnovers. What it comes down to is can TCU’s freshman quarterback capitalize on those turnovers. They did it last week against Texas. I’m looking for TCU to sell out on the run and make the freshman beat them through the air.

The Pick: TCU beats the spread
