Champions League Action Today: Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Messi, Must Watch Matches and More!

If you are a soccer fan out there, you know today is by far one of the most exciting days to watch the beautiful game!

We have a match that we have been waiting for a long while to see happening between two GOATS, Ronaldo vs. Messi. So, aside of this incredible match, we also have a packed schedule these next two days, so what matches are a must-watch? Let’s get right into it!

Must-Watch Matches Tuesday December 8th.

FC Barcelona vs. Juventus – Score Prediction 2-2.

As I was just saying, this is a must-watch and impossible to ignore. These two have gone head-to-head in multiple occasions but in terms of championships though, Ronaldo has the upper hand on Messi.

Ronaldo has also been a more effective goal scorer between the two with Ronaldo scoring 132 goals in 173 matches. While Messi, he has scored 118 goals in 146 matches during their time playing Champions League football. Personally though, these two teams have a lot going on them internally. As you all know, Barcelona is now under the new management of Ronald Koeman whose style is very questionable but actually performing in the Champions League.

On another hand though, you have Juventus being led by legendary Andrea Pirlo who are 4th in the Serie A but have yet to lose a match! The last time these two clubs played, the VAR very much robbed Alvaro Morata and Juventus so I expect this match to be an extremely close one and hence my 2-2 prediction.

Manchester United vs. RB Leipzig: 3-1 United Wins.

Manchester United vs RB Leipzig Predictions and Betting Tips

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be entering his toughest week on the job yet. With a must-win situation on his hands with this match, Ole will need to bring up a strong lineup against a defensive team in RB Leipzig.

In addition, there are massive rumors of a Pogba departure, this of course will stir the pot internally but I do think with the leadership skills of Bruno Fernandes and Rashford, this team moves forward and wins 3-1 versus Leipzig.

PSG vs. Istanbul Basaksehir: 2-2.

Neymar and company come into this match with a desperado mindset for a win and rightfully so.

One of the most prolific soccer teams in the world basically facing elimination if they don’t win. I hate to be a pessimist here but with Istanbul playing as they are lately and with nothing to lose, they are an incredibly dangerous squad and could bring havoc onto PSG. Every time that PSG is in desperate need, mistakes lead the way for them and hence why I think this ends in a tied match leaving PSG out of the round of 16 in Champions League.

Must-Watch Matches Tomorrow, December 9th!

Real Madrid vs. Borussia Monchengladbach: 1-2 Victory for Gladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Real Madrid Predictions - Betwithcindy.com

I’ve been saying this all along and will continue to say it until it actually happens. Zinedine Zidane will be out of a job in no time.

With the very real rumor that Sergio Ramos is looking to leave Real because of his mandate and with zero potentials for a high replacement, Florentino Perez is in an awful situation where he has to care for the future of the club. Simply put, it just isn’t Zidane at the helm.

Monchengladbach continues to be the story of the Champions League and honestly, I see Gladbach continuing their story. 2-1 victory for them is my prediction and Real would be dependent on the score between Shaktar Donestk and Inter Milan.

Inter Milan vs. Shaktar Donestk: 2-1 Inter Wins.

I have been putting my faith on Inter Milan all season long in the Champions League and will continue to do so here. I truly believe we will see an Inter Milan focused with the goal at task. The actual potential of Madrid collapsing out of Champions League action is more than enough motivation for this team to move forward.

Let’s not forget also that a deathly duo of Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi will be costly for Shaktar to deal with. I know that the first time these two met, Inter took one on the chin. Second time around though is always interesting and I know it could go either way, but I will stay true to Inter and will ride with a 2-1 for them. Hope is the last thing to lose!

In Conclusion…

As said earlier, this is a very exciting week for soccer fans around the world. Frankly, we are getting a treat seeing Ronaldo vs. Messi go head-to-head.

Additionally, we are getting some drama in the Champions League with big team names potentially out of competition.
