Celtics vs Lakers, Who you got?
The Los Angeles Lakers travel into Boston to take on the Celtics in a Saturday night primetime match up. This is the first meeting between the two teams and both teams need this win to give them momentum to continue their paths to a championship.
The Lakers are currently the best team in the NBA and its really not even close. Yes, the team lost to a very good Philadelphia 76ers on the road and a very bad team in the Detroit Pistons but the Lakers aren’t going to win every road game they play. However, this is where this team will be tested. Two tough losses, now going into Boston, how will they respond? Its no question that this Lakers team will bounce back, they have two much talent and in case y’all forgot, they still have the best player on the planet, LeBron James.
As for the Boston Celtics, the team for the first time this season had all three players, Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum all on the floor together this past Wednesday night. It wasn’t awful, in fact, it was encouraging. Walker came out and said he needs to adjust his play to accommodate the two rising stars in Brown and Tatum. That is something that is very intriguing coming from one of your leaders. The Celtics are currently 10-7 but Coach Brad Stevens is still trying to figure out rotations and who he can rely on as this season continues to move forward.
These two teams couldn’t of met at a perfect time. This will be a true test for the Boston Celtics. This is opportunity to show the league that they can compete with the best and put some respect on their names. As for the Lakers, this is a test to see if they can overcome adversity. The Celtics take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 8:30.
