Celtics Own The Cavaliers

The Celtics obviously had a huge win over the Cavaliers yesterday afternoon. The Celtics absolutely owned the Cavaliers in every facet of the game. This is exciting and all, but it really scares me.

LeBron is the best player in the world, you can’t argue that. How he played yesterday will most likely not happen again this series. He even made statements after the game, that he is comfortable being down 0-3 in a series. Let alone 0-1. However, this won’t matter unless the rest of his team can step up. I do not see this happening.

Thompson is not the same dude he was a few years ago. Horford has never played well against Thompson but the times have changed. Korver is more of a spot up shooter at this point and does not matter much. Love will score his points and that is fine, but no one else on this Cavaliers team will take over a game besides LeBron. He is the only one capable of leading a team like this to win the series.

With all this being said, I still believe the Celtics have a shot at winning this series. They have established an advantage in the post, and the young bucks ( Rozier, Tatum, Brown) are going bananas. People have been disrespecting the C’s throughout the Playoffs. The 76ers were literally favorites for a majority of their series. This is only fueling the Celtics as they make this “underdog” run to the NBA Finals.
