CBB Daily Report (2/2/22)
Yesterday, was one of the worst daily gambling reports that I have ever put out. I want to apologize for that as I came in a little bit too cocky and will get back to the drawing board to be better. Both home dogs last night, Stanford won and covered as a favorite. UCONN had their worst shooting performance of the season and that over was never even close. Texas Tech got the revenge in Chris Beard’s first game back at Texas Tech since becoming the head coach of Texas. That cost me my fourth consecutive parlay of the day. Hey we are still up units in the Daily Report, but it is time to get back to the winning ways. Here is my daily report for the college basketball slate of games tonight.
Home Dog: 9-10 (-2u) ML 5-14 (-7.05u)
Marquette +4.5 -110 ML (+170)
Marquette is my home dog of the day in this one. They are hosting Villanova tonight in this top 25 Big East showdown. Villanova has won nine out of their last ten, while covering in seven out of those ten games. While Marquette has won seven out of their last ten games and have covered in eight out of their last ten. The Golden Eagles are 9-3 at home this season while Villanova is 5-3 on the road this year. Villanova has been good, but they are due for a loss. Marquette are 6-0 against the spread in the last six games as an underdog. Ride the Golden Eagles tonight as they cover this line easily and have a chance to win this game outright.
Lovin The Favorite: 11-5 (+5.5u)
Miami -4.5 -110
We got a good ACC showdown tonight. As Miami is a home favorite against Notre Dame tonight. The Hurricanes are 9-2 at home this season, while Notre Dame is 4-3 on the road this season as well. Miami are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall. Notre Dame has won three straight against Miami, but the Hurricanes are a much better team this season. I would take the Miami back court over most back courts in the ACC this season. I am lovin Miami -4.5 in this one.
Feeling The Over/Riding The Under: 6-10-1 (-5u)
Butler vs Xavier (130)
We have a Big East showdown that will be an interesting matchup. I am feeling the over 130 in this one. In Butler’s last six games as an underdog, the over is 5-0-1 in those games. The over is also 4-1-1 in Butler’s last six overall games as well. In Xavier’s last seven games against a team with a winning straight up record, the over is 5-1-1 in those games. This one will come down to the wire and will probably hit the over in the final two minutes.
