CBB Daily Report (1/31/21)
Sorry for the hiatus, but your boy is back with his CBB Daily Report. Vacation got the best of me, but I am back to pick up where I left off. The last time I wrote one of these this is how I did.

That’s right we hit two out of our three home dogs which both won outright. Both our favorites hit and we cashed our second consecutive parlay of the day. We are in the green in Parlay Of The Days now. With the little bit of time off, can I continue my hot streak? You best believe it and with that being said here is today’s CBB Daily Gambling Report.
Home Dogs: 9-6 (+2.4u) ML 5-10 (-3.05u)
Lafayette +8.5 -110 ML (+320)
My first home dog tonight is none other than Lafayette. The are hosting Colgate tonight in this Patriot League matchup. Both teams have struggled as of late. Colgate has won four out of their last ten and Lafayette has won three out of their last ten. The Lafayette Leopards are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight Monday games. Lafayette is getting 55 percent of the money from the public today. Colgate struggles away from home and with them on the road as a heavy favorite, I see them not being able to cover this number. One trend to look at with these two teams is as followed. In the last five meetings between these two schools, the underdog is 4-1 against the spread. Ride the Lafayette Leopards with the points tonight and sprinkle a little on the money line as they could win this game outright.
Notre Dame +5.5 -110 ML (+175)
My second home dog that I love tonight is Notre Dame. Duke is coming off a win over Louisville that for the majority of that game they didn’t deserve to win. Their defense showed up in the final six minutes of the game and that was the difference maker. Tonight, the Blue Devils are on the road taking on the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame is a 5.5 point dog, but I think this line should be a lot closer. The Fighting Irish have had success at home all season long. They are 9-0 this season at home and are 6-3 against the spread at home as well. Duke has won eight out of their last ten games and is due for a loss. Tonight will be that loss in my opinion. 77 percent of the bets are on Duke -5.5 tonight and only 19% of the bets is on Notre Dame money line. With the public so heavy on Duke tonight, this is an easy Notre Dame cover spot here. Look for the Fighting Irish to cover and keep this game close enough to pull out a win when it is all said and done.
Lovin The Favorites: 9-5 (+3.5u)
Southern -2.5 -110
Southern Jaguars are a road favorite tonight against Jackson State. The Southern Tigers are 7-3 in their last ten games, while Jackson State is 2-8 in their last ten. Jackson State at home this year is where they are at their best. However, Southern is 9-5 against the spread this season on the road. This is leading me to taking the Jaguars -2.5. Some trends to help my argument are as followed. Southern is 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games. In their last eight games as a favorite, the Jaguars are 6-2 against the spread. I am lovin the Southern Jaguars -2.5 tonight.
Feeling The Over/Riding The Under 5-9-1 (-5u)
West Virginia vs Baylor (138.5)
This Big 12 showdown would have been a must watch a couple of weeks ago. However, the West Virginia Mountaineers have really struggled as of late. Now having a matchup with a top team in the country like Baylor is a recipe of disaster waiting to happen. I like this game for the total aspect. This matchup is really making me feeling the over 138.5 tonight. 67 percent of the bets are on the over tonight in this Big 12 matchup. In West Virginia’s last 26 games as an underdog, the over is 20-6. In Baylor’s last 25 games as a home favorite, the over is 17-8 in that span. The over is too low in my opinion, but we won’t see it hit until the final four minutes of the second half.
