It’s Burnie and Chris episode 49! Finally after back to back weeks with technical difficulties we finally have an episode with none! It’s also a coincidence that intern Earl was also not present for this episode either so maybe he’s the source of the back to back technical difficulties episode. Stay turned for next week to see if we can have a clean episode with intern Earl back in the building! In the NHL, the Sharks are hanging around the playoffs after a five goal game from Timo Meier! The Rangers are still buzzing and the Bruins have become a serious playoff contender with their hot start to the calendar year!
In college basketball, both Villanova and Duke had heartbreaking losses but responded to them nicely with big much needed wins. It’s not January unless both Villanova and Duke suffer heartbreak. In the NBA, Chris tells us that he is done with the Celtics until they get their act together. It’s the same thing every week, they look good and then they lose games they shouldn’t. Chris also tells us his thoughts on the Grayson Allen situation as he gets suspended one game after a hard foul against Alex Caruso.
What a weekend it was in the NFL. NFL fans got to witness four amazing games in the divisional round of the playoffs. Our thoughts are nothing but spicy about this weekend. We contribute our thought to the new debate about the overtime rules. Should they change or should they stay as is, that’s the golden question. Chris is also happy about the moves the Giants are making! For once, we have some Giants positivity you do not want to miss that!
