It’s Burnie and Chris episode 38! We are back after a one week break! Matt gives a very brief summary of his vacation! Speaking of vacation, the Boston Red Sox are officially on vacation as their season came to a screeching halt in the ALCS. The Houston Astros are going to the World Series after eliminating the Red Sox in six games. They will be facing off against the Atlanta Braves who took out the Los Angeles Dodgers also in six. We give our predictions for who will win the World Series and who will be World Series MVP.
The NHL season is officially underway and the San Jose Sharks are hot! Not only are the Sharks hot, but so are the New York Rangers and Boston Bruins! It’s safe to say that we are all smiles to start the season! The NBA season is also officially underway! The Boston Celtics are off to a slow start but there is a lot of basketball yet to be played! We also give our NBA Finals prediction and explain why the Brooklyn Nets will not be in the finals this year!
It was a pretty tame week for college football. However, Penn State and Illinois needed not one, not two but nine overtimes to decide a winner! It is officially the longest college football game ever. We also review the new top ten rankings! In the NFL both the Patriots and Giants won their matchups this week! We also go over the dreadful season Patrick Mahomes is having and we review week seven of the NFL season!
