And here it is. Hanley Ramirez has gone weeks now as an unrestricted free agent and not a single team has even brought him in or shown remote interest in signing the former Red Sox infielder.
The speculation has been circulating now that there could potentially be something buried that the public does not yet know. And then moments before I wrote this blog, Michele McPhee, an investigative journalist for ABC, tweeted this.

Now we wait for the news to further unfold. I have a feeling that we are about to learn some different aspects of Hanley Ramirez’s life that could destroy his legacy as a baseball player as well as a human being.
Remember, as far as we know right now this is all alleged.
Update: The Red Sox claim to have not know about this investigation at the time of Ramirez’s release from the team.
