Last night in a 133-132 win over the 76ers, Blake Griffin dropped a whopping 50 points. He was literally on fire the entire night from the field. Forget about this game though, Griffin has some monstrous stats through his first three games of this young season.
Through three games Blake Griffin is averaging 36.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Shooting 53.3% from the floor and 61.1% from 3.

I may be getting ahead of myself, but this is the healthiest I’ve seen Blake in years. Over the past few seasons, he’s suffered from nagging injuries that affected his play. Now the big fella is back and ready to take on the league.

The game tape shows it all. The guy is finally happy playing for the Pistons. Drummond and Blake make for a good combo down low, and they are making noise in the paint. Can the Pistons contend with the Celtics, Raptors, and 76ers? I don’t see why they wouldn’t if Drummond and Griffin stay healthy.
