Best Halloween Costumes in Boston’s Sports So Far
Today being Halloween, I figured we’d take a look at some of the best costumes from Boston’s sports teams. Firstly, we talk about the Bruins. Boston’s hockey team had a lot of fun celebrating this holiday, dressing up in many different costumes. We start off with their visit to the Boston Children’s hospital dressed as the characters from Toy Story.
The team dressed up for their yearly visit to the hospital to see the kids. Though the Bruins make multiple trips to visit kid in the hospital every year, this one is extra special as they dress up as characters for the kids.
Next we got picture’s from the team’s Halloween party courtesy of Zdeno Chara’s Instagram last night.
While the group shot was great, some of the up-close shots, make it so much better. One of the best costumes of the night has to go to Brad Marchand and his wife Katrina who went as Eleven and Dustin from the Netflix show Stranger Things respectfully.
But the best costumes of the night have to go to defensive pairing Matt Grzelcyk and Connor Clifton who decided to go as NESN play by play and color guys Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley. The two set the Boston media market off with their rendition of the sports broadcasting duo.
The Bruins, however, were not the only ones getting into the Halloween spirit this year. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady posted a photo on his Instagram this morning that showed him in a Storm Troopers costume. The 42-year-old football player also joked that he’d be put on the ‘did not participate’ list for today practice because he refused to take off the helmet.
Finally, what would Halloween be without the Boogeymen? While there were no accounts of the Patriots defense wearing actual boogeymen costumes today, the team’s official Twitter page posted this graphic of the guys on defense this morning.
Hopefully as the day goes on, we’ll see pictures of the team in costume as well as ones of the Celtics and Red Sox players. I for one cannot wait to see what Brock Holt and son Griff will be going as for Halloween cause we all know that it’s going to be good.
