Believe in Boston; they’re coming Out of the East

The 6-1 Celtics sit at the top of the Eastern Conference, and they look so good. The chemistry and execution of this team have been fun to watch. The Celtics are currently on a six-game winning streak.

Gordon Hayward has been the motor that has been fueling the Celtics during the start of this season. He is currently averaging just over twenty points a game while shooting fifty-six percent from the field. It’s encouraging to see Hayward get back to high-caliber basketball. Hayward has had a rough start as a Boston Celtic. He has been remarkable in the pick and roll game, helping his teammates get more involved in scoring opportunities.

As for the two other players that I see only needing some improving as the season goes on, Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum. I feel Kemba and Walker are critical to the Celtics success.  Kemba Walker is the leader of this team and has established a positive culture in the locker. Jayson Tatum is a pure scorer who has improved his game a lot from last year.

The Celtics currently have four players averaging twenty plus points per game. How can you not say they are not the favorite to come out of the East? Milwaukee and Philadelphia are the two teams that are projected to face off in the Eastern Conference. However, with the way Brad Stevens has the Celtics playing, I can see the Boston Celtics representing the East in the NBA Finals.

The Celtics will try to extend their winning streak tonight, as they travel into San Antonio to take on the Spurs.
