Antonio Brown strips off his pads and jersey and walks off the field

The Antonio Brown theatrics have continued in the game against the Jets at MetLife Stadium. The Buccaneers wide receiver removed his pads and jersey midway through the third quarter and left the field.

There was no reported injury to Brown leading up to him seemingly removing himself from the game.

Brown was seen jogging off the field shirtless and throwing up the deuces sign to the fans in the crowd.

The Buccaneers have no immediate comments as to what happened with Brown. His third quarter actions will likely be addressed postgame by the team.

Brown had three catches for 26 yards in the game. The Bucs were trailing the Jets at the time 24-17.

Conclusion

This isn’t Brown’s first rodeo with drama this season. He was suspended earlier this season for misrepresenting his vaccination status by the NFL.

Bucs head coach Bruce Arians has been vocal about Brown in the past, saying there’s “too much diva.” But when the best player in the game, Tom Brady says he wants Brown, you go and get Brown.“

Time will tell what happens next with Brown following today’s on-field antics.

The Bucs will release Brown per Dov Kleiman.
