3 Things to Watch For in Indianapolis @ Buffalo

It will be a rematch of the 2020 AFC Wild Card game as the Indianapolis Colts will travel to Buffalo for a meeting with the Bills. After blowing out the New York Jets last week, Buffalo will look to build some momentum before their game on Thanksgiving night against the New Orleans Saints. Here are 3 things to keep an eye on during the game.

No Spencer Brown..Again

The Bills will be without a key piece on Sunday. Right tackle Spencer Brown got placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list today. Brown just got back in action last week against the Jets after getting injured and now he won’t be playing this weekend and it’s very likely he won’t be playing against the Saints. This is a huge blow for the Bills. They missed Brown against the Jacksonville Jaguars and you could tell how important he was last week. Hopefully Jon Feliciano will be back against the Saints but nonetheless, this is a huge loss for Buffalo.

Stopping Jonathan Taylor

Indianapolis Colts' Jonathan Taylor ranked 9th among NFL RBs

Buffalo’s defense has been spectacular this season but they will be facing one of the league’s best running backs on Sunday. According to ESPN, Jonathan Taylor has 161 carries (3rd in the NFL), 937 rushing yards (tied for 1st) and has 9 touchdowns (3rd). So it’s safe to say the Bills defense will have their work cut out for them. During the Wild Card game against Buffalo, he rushed for 78 yards and got 1 touchdown, according to NFL.com. I’m looking forward to see how Buffalo’s defense does against Taylor.

Revenge On Their Mind

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, this is a rematch of the 2020 Wild Card game which saw the Bills eliminating the Colts. I’m sure Indianapolis hasn’t forgotten that and will use it as fuel to try and beat Buffalo. Indy is a better team than what their 5-5 record shows but I expect it to be a hard fought game.
