Who Will Be The Headliner At UFC 230 At Madison Square Garden?

With so many big returns one of the biggest question on UFC fans minds is who will be headlining UFC 230? UFC 230 will be taking place at Madison Square Garden. The UFC has only had two shows at MSG and both cards were absolutely stacked. Their first show McGregor vs Alvarez headlined, the second show GSP returned to take on Michael Bisping. No one knows who’s going to be this years headliner. With an absolutely staked under card featuring a huge co-main event between Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz it’s hard to think of a big enough name to headline this card.

Conor McGregor is already scheduled to fight at UFC 229 he’s out of the discussion to headline. Brock Lesnar is still going through his suspension from his USADA violation. George St. Pierre is pretty much out of the question, who is a big enough name to headline? Former UFC fighter and now podcast host Brendan Schaub weighed in on who he thinks is going to headline and he brought up a very interesting name. Schaub says he thinks Jon Jones could make his return at UFC 230. Jones is from New York and is definitely a big enough name to headline line such a huge card. Jones is still on suspension from his USADA violation. Jones should be ready to fight by the time UFC 230 rolls around and would be the only huge name available to headline. The announcement of who the headliner will be, will most likely be announced in the near future.
