Who I Want To See Back With The Boston Red Sox This Year
The Red Sox are just over a quarter of the way through their season and are tied atop the American League East. That a huge plus considering they have some major holes they need to fix if they want to keep that up until the end of the season and into October. The biggest hole definitely falls within their bullpen and with Carson Smith dislocating his shoulder, it’s only getting worse.
A face I would love to see back in the Sox pen…Andrew Miller! The Indians are a .500 team and if they continue down this road they could find themselves in the seller’s role at the deadline. Miller’s contract is up at the end of the year and he will most likely walk at the end of the year. With that being said he would just be a one-year rental and that is exactly what the Sox need.
The Indians are leading the AL Central and they’re a .500 team. They have a game and a half lead over the Tigers who’re 3 games below .500. AL Central is killing it! That’s unbelievable. So as you can all see, there’s still a solid chance the Indians win the division and sneak into the playoffs just being an average team. In that case, obviously, the Indians won’t give up one of their best relievers regardless of his contract being up.
I have always been a fan of Miller and hated to see him go, so any chance of him suiting back up in a Sox uniform I’m all in on! Dom Dom start wheeling and dealing and make this happen!
