What is the Patriots Plans at Quarterback?

The New England Patriots went into last week’s draft with only two Quarterbacks on the rosters. Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer, two players who have not proven big things in the league. Fans were expecting the team to add another Quarterback through the draft, making the team have three Quarterbacks on the roster.

However, that was not the case. Instead, the team signed two undrafted rookies, Brian Lewerke, Michigan State, and J’mar Smith, Louisiana Tech, who no one knows much about these players. So, what is their plan?

As Patriot fans, we have been fortunate enough to have no problem at the Quarterback position in the last twenty years. However, we are not in that situation this off-season, and yes, it is a new experience for us.

I am wondering why the team does not at least take a look at either Quarterback’s, Andy Dalton or Cam Newton. Both players have had success in the league and are currently free agents. There is an opportunity to make a big move.

Let Stidham develop more and continue to gain confidence while signing a veteran Quarterback.  I do not know what the plan is at the Quarterback position, but right now, the Patriots might have one of the worst situations in the league.
