It seems like Christian Arroyo has a knack for the dramatics. Take last night for example. Arroyo unloaded on a 1-2 pitch with two outs in the top of the 6th for the Red Sox first grand slam of the season. This isn’t the first time he’s come up in a big situation. Remember the Astros game at Fenway a few weeks ago? Homerun! The Blue Jays game the day after? Go ahead homerun in the 8th inning! Arroyo continues to prove with his bat that he should be an everyday player for this Red Sox team.

Personally at this point, if you aren’t ready for Jarren Duran to come up; let Christian Arroyo hit leadoff! Think about it, Arroyo has been one of the best players for Red Sox so far in the month of June. What are the other options at this point? Martin Gonzalez? He’s hitting below .200. Kike Hernandez? He’s hitting .224. Arroyo could make sense leadoff. He has Alex Verdugo, JD Martinez, Xander Bogaerts, and Rafael Devers to support him two through five.
