The fact that a catcher can legally get pantsed like this in front of the entire world on ESPN is wild to see. It’s almost sad to watch.

Adeiny Hechavarria puts on the absolute moves at home to put the Rays up 2-1 in the game and he ended up being the winning run.

Here’s my issue with this whole situation though. And honestly, it has nothing to do with the play at home. Why the hell are the Kansas City Royals and the Tampa Bay Rays playing primetime baseball on ESPN? Who made this schedule?

I’m not just saying this because I’m a big-time Sox guy. Even though I am a big time Sox guy. Sup?

The Red Sox are playing the Oakland As at the same time and let me tell you, it was a game that deserved that timeslot. The Red Sox who might be slipping a bit against the Oakland As who, despite their record, can swing their sticks with the best of ’em.

This play at home though got my anxiety running through the roof. It felt like I was watching that play for a good minute. I don’t really know why this would be a reason, but this is why baseball is the balls. It’s America’s greatest sport and I’m not budging off of that stance.

Fire play at home. Nothing but grit. Let’s. Go.
