Captain Matthew Slater is BACK! The guys obviously start the episode with the great news that Core-4, future hall of fame, Matthew Slater is back on the team. What do you think of the contract and is there really ANY other take other than being happy about this? Al also brings up the rumor that Bert Breer brought up. The Patriots would “reportedly” be open to trading Mac Jones if the “right offer” came along. Which isn’t breaking anyones minds and is a sort of obviously claim. The surprising part is when he says that the team internally doesn’t see much of a gap between Mac and Zappe. The guys break that down and as you can expect, they aren’t happy about it. And lastly they do their “I Can’t Believe They Were Patriots” draft. Players you can’t believe played on the team for various different reasons. There are deinitely some players you will recognize and surely some that you won’t. Some that are elite/legendary and some that only played one or two games. This is a list of people you wouldn’t expect and then there’s some that you obviously would expect. All that and more on this weeks episode!
