Tom Brady and Josh McDaniels Had a “Deteriorating” Relationship, Brady QUICKLY Shuts That Down

Rumors are so much fun, aren’t they? They make for stories, conversation, and a bunch of other malarkey. Want a real laugher? According to reports, former (yuck! hate to even type that) New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and current offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels had a “deteriorating” relationship toward the end of their tenure together.

GIVE ME A BREAK! I mean, let’s be real here people. Josh McDaniels and Tom Brady always had a great relationship together. Don’t believe me? Watch this.

Brady IMMEDIATELY Comes to McDaniels’ Defense

The rest of the quote goes on to see “19 years together and brothers for life”. Brady and McDaniels were together for 16 of Brady’s 20 seasons in New England. McDaniels directly coaches Brady for 13 of those seasons. The two were a great pair. Plus, we all remember how they reacted when they pulled off a miraculous stop of the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX. Hugging and happy as me eating a roast beef sandwich! You get the point.

My Thoughts on This All

I can see why somebody would come up with this type of story. The writing was on the wall for Brady to leave New England after the 2019 season. It was time for a change with everybody involved. I love Tom Brady as much as the next Patriots fan. But for a few years, I was saying to myself, “When will this all end?”. Essentially, when is the rebuild? Well it has finally come. So of course people are going to try to come up with news headlines. What better way to do it than by saying the offensive coordinator and quarterback starting having more fallouts? These two were a pair made in heaven. As a result, they won multiple Super Bowls. Can’t beat that.

In Conclusion

This story is a bunch of hogwash. Honestly, that’s all it is at this point. We don’t need any more unnecessary drama. McDaniels is still in the fold and will have the task of helping Jarrett Stidham mature. Brady is going to do his thing with the Buccaneers. The two love each other. They’ve expressed it publicly. Let’s leave it at that and move on.
