The Youngest Ball Brother

Many of you already know about LaVar Ball and Lonzo ball, but now everyone seems to be talking about the youngest Ball brother. LaMelo Ball broke into the spotlight after scoring an insane amount of points for his Chino Hills High School basketball team. We have even seen him sink a half court shot on ESPN. What you do not see to often are all the shots he does miss, and the other teams that he is playing against. Do not get me wrong, LaMelo Ball is very talented, but he has a lot of work to do if he wants to make it the NBA.

Let’s get one thing straight first, Lamelo is only a sophomore so he still has a long time to develop his skills before he gets to college. He is one of the best players in the country for his age, but he needs to grow up a little. His High School coach may actually have a clue on what he is doing, but we all know that LaVar Ball is probably making the decisions for Chino Hills basketball.

Although this video is long, I really agreed with most of the points this man made. Give it a watch and let me know if you agree.

So we never get to really see the shots that Lamelo takes and terribly misses. I understand that everyone takes bad shots once in a while, but not 28 in one game. LaMelo has tried these long ranged shots before and had looked very stupid taking them. He even gets blocked by someone on one of the shots. He also takes a crazy amount of three pointers. As you see from the video, in one game LaMelo takes 33 shots… That is just crazy for any high school player to take that many shots. Then you notice that he only made 8 of those 33 shots, and the 8 that he did make were all three pointers (took 28 threes). If I was the coach of that team, I would have taken LaMelo out every time he took a dumb shot. Defense? Forget about that, LaMelo has NO clue on how to play that, and probably has no idea what defense even means.

As always, comment/let me know your thoughts on this topic. Like, retweet, share, this article and please get the word out on Couch Guy Sports. Thursday I will go over who I believe will win the NBA Finals.
