The Trenton Thunder Bat Dog Has A Twitter And It Is Making Me Sad
Growing up in Central New Jersey one of best things to do in the Summer was going to Trenton Thunder games. Sure you had to go to Trenton and park by an abandoned building with no windows but still. 40 bucks and you could sit 3 rows off the field and watch a baseball game. Nothing better. And one of their main attractions was their dog. He would run out on the field and pick up the bats and the people would go crazy. I mean I bet the pine tar isn’t great for his little dog stomach but let’s not talk about it ok? Well thanks to coronavirus our sweet prince Rookie is out of a job. Just collecting dog unemployment. Only getting a fraction of the pets and treats he normally would. So sad. And to make matters worse his Twitter account is making me so sad.

Today I'm celebrating my grandfather Chase's birthday! He was the first @TrentonThunder bat dog and he started our "Family Business".
