The Rafters Pod Ep. 63: Keeping It “Strictly Basketball”

Connor and Liam hit the table nearly at seasons end for Episode 63 of The Rafters Podcast. The topic of today? Obviously the NBA playoffs. Besides Bostons marginal beat downs to Brooklyn there are some great series taking place around the league. Down 0-2 facing a weekend of home games Boston stands behind Jayson Tatum as they hope to pull out an upset win in any fashion at home this weekend. Coming back to Boston finally allowing fans at max capacity screams scaries for Kyrie Irving who sees a sea of “boo’s” and ridicules when he returns to Bean Town after bunring the franchise up in the few years he was there. Irving released a statement ahead of Game 3 hoping the fans can “keep it strictly basketball” and “avoid anything racist”. Was this a fair call or a low blow on Irvings part?  Any team led by Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving already puts you at a disadvantage let alone being injury riddled and battered down. Things look bleak for the Celtics season but crazier things have happened.
