The Rafters Pod Ep. 101: Celtics Can Still Win This

The Celtics can still win the championship! Not all hope is lost and the Boston faithful know this. With the series going back to Boston at 3-2, two straight wins are the mountain to climb. Who’s gonna win it? The Celtics. Special guest, Al Nahigian joins us for the first time this season to share his concerns and convictions.

The Celtics squandered an opportunity to even the series losing 104-94 on the opposing coast. Chef Curry cooked up a stale meal missing every single three point attempt in game 5 only for former disgraced top pick, Andrew Wiggins to carry the team to victory. Boston didn’t do themselves any favors though with yet another turnover filled evening and a poor shooting night to boot. The Eastern Conference champions have yet to string together consecutive strong outings in this finals series. This is their very last chance to change that and salvage an overall successful season.

Win or go home from here on out. This team goes where its superstar goes. Jayson Tatum has been mostly underwhelming in the finals. The young gun has been outplayed by co-star Jaylen Brown the vast majority of the series. That’s even scarier when Brown has yet to crack thirty points in a game this series. The Celtics can still win this, but they’ll need a team effort.
