The Daily (2/5/21)
Welcome back to another edition of the daily. Today we are looking to start the weekend off on the right foot. We have a slate of games in the NBA, NHL, and College Basketball as well today. With that being said here are my daily picks for today.
NBA: 5-7 (-1.49u)
Boston Celtics vs Los Angeles Clippers
This game hits a little close to home for myself today. My two favorite teams are facing off against each other. As the Boston Celtics head to the Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Clippers. Boston is coming off of a loss to Sacramento the other night, while the Clippers took a win at Cleveland. The Celtics have lost three out of their last four and they would like to turn the tides tonight against a very good Clippers team.
Kawhi and Paul George vs Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is going to be a must watch duo matchup tonight. The Celtics not having Marcus Smart tonight is a big loss for them. It just means more work on the defensive end for Tatum and Brown. Another big piece for the Celtics is that they need their role players to play well tonight if they want to beat the Clippers. Boston has struggled on the road and the Clippers have been exceptional at home. The number is a little higher than I thought it would be at the beginning of the week. So I am staying away from the number and focusing on the over/under.
