Welcome back to another edition of The Daily. Today we got a decently good slate of games. Mainly we got a lot of action on the ice tonight, to go along with a little action on the hardwood. We had a big bounce back day yesterday like I said I was due for. Can we make it two positive days in a row? With that being said here are my daily picks.
NBA: (This Week 6-4 +2.07 units)
Golden State vs Phoenix
The Golden State Warriors are on the road tonight against the Phoenix Suns. Golden State is coming off of a win last night over the Timberwolves. While the Suns took their third straight loss against the Thunder last night. We got a lot of things to take into consideration for tonight’s game. The first thing is that Golden State had to get on a plane and fly to Phoenix after last night’s game. I know it is not a far travel, but traveling right after a game to play the following day is very tough.
Stephen Curry and company have looked well their last two games, but playing against the Timberwolves who didn’t have Karl Anthony-Towns or D’Angelo Russell in last night’s game is hard for me to compare how good the Warriors are. Phoenix on the other hand has one win in their last six games. They are on a cold streak and today would be a good day to snap the streak. The big question mark for them is the health of Devin Booker. He missed last night’s game with a hamstring injury and is questionable for today so far. I see the Suns getting Booker back today, and winning this game over Golden State to snap their skid.
