Summer of Seltzer ‘21: Chill Out with the Upslope Spiked Snowmelt

Please enjoy Spiked Seltzer responsibly.

When you go to your local liquor store and you head over to the spiked hard seltzer area, the options are nearly endless.

That’s a good thing for people because you have options too chose from. But it can also be intimidating especially if you’re unsure what to try.

If you have the opportunity to taste the newest flavors of Upslope Spiked Snowmelt you will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a hard seltzer colder than the Colorado Rockies, baseball team included look no further than Upslope Spiked Snowmelt.

Upslope was born in Boulder, Colorado by three man back in 2008. Matt Cutter, Henry Wood and Dany Page sold their homes and moved to Colorado to pursue their love for brewing beer.

These gents have since taken Colorado by storm and now offer hard seltzer. In fact, they got into the seltzer game back in 2019. Thats when they first dropped Spiked Snowmelt.

Upslope spent nine months in research and development before launching Snowmelt. The idea was to develop flavors similar to what they produce with their beer.

“Certainly in our beer-making we’re strategic in what flavors are going out,” said Katie Hill an Upslope employee back in 2019. “The same kind of thing is going into anything we do. With Spiked Snowmelt … we didn’t want to pick the basic stuff that was out there.”

Over the last two years, Upslope Spiked Seltzer has grown. They’ve continued to add different innovation to their seltzer including adding electrolytes last year to the line.

What Upslope Offers

With the company’s love for the outdoors and bringing amazing craft beer to your palate, their seltzer is top notch.

Each can of Spiked Snowmelt weighs in at 5% ABV and is 100 calories with only 2g of carbs and 2g of sugars. They’re seltzer is also gluten free and only uses natural ingredients. Who says that getting your buzz on can’t be somewhat healthy? I’m kidding, please enjoy responsibly.

During their initial release they offered three flavors, Pomegranate & Açaí, Tangerine & Hops and finally Juniper & Lime.

Upslope added their Electrolyte Series with three additional flavors headlined by my favorite Grapefruit & Hops.

Conclusion

This summer you can grab their newest Tropical Mix series. The variety 12-pack will feature three new tropical-inspired flavors in 12-ounce cans: Key Lime & Hibiscus, Pineapple & Coconut, and Passionfruit Orange Guava.

I don’t generally drink the tropical flavors when it comes to seltzers. However, the Grapefruit & Hops adds that crisp but yet refreshing taste while at your summer cookout.

It’s my favorite of the line of seltzer’s and a perfect summer libation in a can.

Variety is always good and mixing up your seltzer game will make you the wildcard of the party. This summer grab a 12-pack of Upslope Spiked Snowmelt seltzer.
