Fantasy Start ’em

Quarterback

Baker Maygield vs. Cin – Mayfield has been the Browns best QB in a loooooong time.  Last time the Browns played the Bengals in Cincinnati, Mayfield threw for 4 touchdowns.  I like his chances of a repeat performance at home.

Running Back

Chris Carson vs KC  – Last week Carson was heavily involved in the Seahawks offensive plan.  He touched the ball 28 times for 148 yards and a touchdown.  I expect the Seahawks to try to keep the electric Patrick Mahomes off the field as much as they can.  They’re going to do that with a heavy dose of Chris Carson.

Wide Receiver

Amari Cooper vs TB– Cooper’s last 4 weeks alternate between a top fantasy performance, and a mediocre day.  Last week against Indy he had a mediocre day,  so I expect a top fantasy performance in a game Dallas really wants to win.

Tight End

Jared Cook vs Den  – Cook continues to see a good amount of work in the Oakland offense.  With at least 5 targets in his last 3 games, and the fact that the Broncos defense can be beaten by the tight end position,  Cook has a good week.

Fantasy Sit ’em

Quarterback

Jared Goff @ Ari – Goff has been abysmal the last two weeks.  Throwing 6 interceptions and not a single touchdown.  This week the Rams travel to Arizona, and the Cardinals have been pretty good against the pass this year, especially at home.

Running Back

Adrian Peterson @ Ten  –  Peterson hasn’t really done anything since his 90 yard touchdown 3 weeks ago.  Besides that 1 run, his last three games look like this:  27 rushes, 75 yards, 0 touchdowns.  Against a stiff Tennessee run defense,  he’s on my bench.

Wide Receiver

Kenny Golladay vs Min – I’m sticking with Golladay on my Sit ’em.  Last week’s performance won’t happen this week.  Minnesota has allowed only 11 catches and 101 yards to opposing wide receivers in their last 2 games.

Tight End

Vance McDonald @ NO –  McDonald’s targets are constantly getting taken by Jesse James.  Against a good Saints defense I think McDonald has a quiet week.
