Snell For AL Cy Young

Last night Blake Snell pitched a gem of a game. 7 innings of one-hit baseball against a strong Indians lineup. The kid is also 25 years old and holds a 19-5 record with a 2.03 ERA. If he can keep this his stellar ERA, then he will join some rare company. The last time an American League pitcher won the CY Young with an ERA under 2.07 was Pedro Martinez. I’ll say that again PEDRO MARTINEZ, and that was back in the year 2000.

I would love to see Chris Sale finish the year off strong with his last three starts. However, you can not take away what Snell has done during his 2018 campaign. He has pitched all season and has helped his team have a somewhat surprisingly awesome season. So come on Cy Young voters #VoteSnellCyYoung.
