Should Teams Be Wary Of Michigan State?
Tom Izzo is back at it again.
As the calendar has flipped to March, the Spartans have flipped the script on their season.
However, is this a blip? Or should teams be concerned about this Spartan team come tourney time?
Tom Izzo’s M.O.
Tom Izzo always seems to do this, doesn’t he?
He just puts it together this time of year.
After much of the year being an underwhelming squad that ended up with double digit losses, they beat the #2 ranked team in the whole land.
Also, even better, it was a bitter rival.
That is *checks notes* 3 top 5 wins in two weeks? huh.

Sparty Twitter is hyped, as you can imagine.
But again, this is Izzo’s month. He is Mr. March, after all.
Please see below if you want to run through a wall.

Is This Team Good?
Well, they have not been for much of the year.
A mix of health and inexperience has seen to that, along with an absolutely loaded big ten.
Selection Sunday is less than a week away 🙌

9 teams in the tournament is not too shabby.
Also, OSU, Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan are all VERY good this season and have lived in the top 10 and top 5 all season.
So yea, competition i fierce. Even Rutgers is solid this season!
However, as their recent run of form shows, this team is peaking at the right time.
This is going to be a lower seeded team, but NO team is going to want to face them.
Mr. March and the Spartans are here, and we’ve seen worse teams go on deep runs.
This is a certified scary first round matchup.
Rocket Watts (amazing name) and this feisty squad are now scheduled for take off.
