Red Sox Split Series With Orioles…I Want The 2018 Red Sox Back NOW!
This joke isn’t funny anymore! The Boston Red Sox were expected to come out of the gates firing, in defense of their 2018 World Series title. They are currently sitting at 6-11, 4th in the A.L. East. I want the 2018 Red Sox back and I need them now!
Seriously, this team is average at the moment! They played their final game of their four game series with the Orioles and lost.
#RedSox split series with O's.

This Is NOT A Good Sign!
I mean, how much worse can it get?! This team is struggling everywhere. When their starting pitching is good, their bats are silent. When the bats get going, their pitching is giving up homeruns left and right. Every starter for the Red Sox not named David Price has an ERA of 7.98 or higher. Talk about a statistic to throw up at, YUCK!
They Go On The Road…Again
The Red Sox now embark on a five game road trip. They play tomorrow and Wednesday in the Bronx against the Yankees. Then, they travel to Tampa Bay to take on the first place Rays. If the Red Sox want to turn this season around, they NEED to win four of their next five. 3-2 doesn’t gain much ground, 4-1 does; plain and simple.
In Conclusion
This Red Sox team needs to wake up and FAST! The Rays are legit and the Yankees are always dangerous with their lineup and bullpen. If this team expects to compete in the A.L. East, they need to prove this week that they can beat quality teams more than once or twice in a given series. Let’s see how that works out!
