PGA Championship Picks
It is time for a major this week. The PGA Championship is taken place this weekend in South Carolina. The Ocean Course at the Kiwah Island Golf Resort is a beautiful spot for this major to take place at this year. We got an interesting field of guys that will get the chance to win the PGA Championship major. Last year’s winner Collin Morikawa shocked the world by winning his first major at the PGA Championship. Who will be winning this year at the Ocean Course. With that being said here are my picks for the 2021 PGA Championship.
Winner:
Dustin Johnson +1850
Dustin Johnson has finished in second place in the last two PGA Championship events. The 36 year old has never won this major and this year might be the year. There is no way he finishes in second three years in a row right? Johnson has won the Masters and the US Open before. He can easily get his third career major win here at Ocean Course. He has also struggled in his last few appearances on the PGA Tour. Since winning the Masters in November of 2020, DJ has finished in the top ten once.
He has struggled in his last two major appearances and I think this is the chance and the course for him to turn things around. Look out for Dustin Johnson because he is back and will be ready to go this week. He is my winner of the PGA Championship.
Top Five:
Brooks Koepka +800
Brooks has won two out of the last three PGA Championship events. Koepka has missed the cut at the last two events that he has taken place in. The last time he did that this season he missed the cut for three straight tournaments and then won the following tournament. I think this time he will contend, but he will end up finishing in the top five. In the 2021 season Koepka has three top five finishes so far. His luck will get better this weekend, and get ready to cash Brooks in the top five with me for +800.
