NFL Conference Championship Preview
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers (3:05 PM EST)
Tom Brady does it again while Drew Brees and the Saints continue to choke in big games. Brady has a jaw dropping 14-2 record in the Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs which isn’t even surprising at this point. The Bucs are coming off of two straight road wins but will face their toughest test of the year. The Bucs blew the doors off of the Packers in a 38-10 win at the beginning of the season. However, since then Rodgers has been the best player in the league and will win the 2020 MVP Award. Rodgers will look to have a better performance than his 160 Pass Yards and 2 INT stat line vs. the Bucs early in the season.
On a cold day at Lambeau the Packers will host the the biggest game of Aaron Rodgers career. Brady has absolutely nothing to lose while Rodgers has a lot to gain. I believe the Bucs will fall just short and Davante Adams will have one of the best performances we have witnessed this Postseason. At the end of the day the Packers offense will be too much to handle. Packers win a great game 27-23.
Game MVP : Davante Adams 8 Receptions / 91 Yards / Two Touchdowns
Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs (6:40 PM EST)
The two best teams in the AFC will square off to get a chance to play the winner of the Bucs/Packers game in the Super Bowl. The story line points to Mahomes and his comeback from the concussion he suffered last Sunday vs the Browns. The Bills are playing the “Cinderella Role” in the NFL this year as they were not expected to make a Super Bowl run. Meanwhile, the Packers, Bucs, and Chiefs were all pretty much expected to be where they are at right now. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs will have to bring their A game if they want a chance to beat the Chiefs.
The Buffalo defense held the Ravens fantastic rush offense to just three points in the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs. They will need to do more of the same to stop the most elite offense in the NFL. I believe this will be the most exciting game of the day due to the two young Quarterbacks and the star power of both offenses. Even if Mahomes is able to complete the full game which I have my doubts on, the Bills can definitely hang around and even pull off the upset. I predict Josh Allen having a big day both on the ground and through the air and winning the game and going to his first Super Bowl. Bills 31-22.
Game MVP : Josh Allen 351 Total Yards / Three Touchdowns
