Lonzo Ball is Sitting out of the Rematch vs. De’Aaron Fox Tonight

This is such a bad look for Lonzo. Everyone knows why he’s sitting out this game. Fox absolutely EXPOSED him during the NCAA tournament last year, and Zo clearly does not want that to happen again. If you aren’t familiar with the game, here are the highlights:

This move is only going to add to the target that is already on Lonzo’s back going into his rookie season. I understand it’s only summer league, but this is such a soft and obvious move. Bowing out does not send a good message about yourself at all. Lonzo hasn’t been having as great of summer league as everyone expected so far. He knew that it wouldn’t get any easier against Fox, who has actually been lighting it up in Vegas this summer. I was pretty pumped to tune into this game tonight, but now not so much.
