Lock, Fade And Stay Away (9/8/20)

If you want the rest of my lock(s), and all of Fiesta’s make sure that you are following us on twitter (@thechasers617). Also don’t forget to give our podcast a listen on Sound Cloud (@thechasers). With that being said here is some of my lock(s), my favorite to fade, and the bet to stay away from today.

Lock(s):

Over 223 (Los Angeles Lakers vs Houston Rockets) (1.1u/1u)

The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets are both looking to take a 2-1 series lead on one another tonight. We saw a great Game Two from both teams, and I can’t wait to see what Game Three has in store for all basketball fans. I am staying away from the spread in this one, because I could see this game going both ways. One thing that I see no matter what is the over to hit in this one. In the Lakers last four games, the over has hit three times. While for the Rockets the over has hit four times in their nine playoff games. I think this will be another high scoring affair, and will come down to the final minutes of the fourth quarter. Lock in the over for this pivotal Game Three as I am risking 1.1 units to make 1 unit.

Vegas Golden Knights -155 (1.55u/1u)

Vegas played a great game in Game One, they just couldn’t find the back of the net. Game One could have went either way, but now we are going to see Vegas come out blazing on the ice tonight. Look for the Golden Knights to come out with some high intensity in Game Two and to pull out the victory in this one. I like Vegas in this one, I think their offense is going to show why they were the number one seed out of the Western Conference. Lock in the Vegas Golden Knights moneyline in this one, as I am risking 1.55 units to make 1 unit.

Fade:

Houston Astros -129 (Game One)

The Houston Astros have struggled as of late as they have lost their last five games. Houston offensively has not been the same Astros team that we have been used to seeing these past couple seasons ….. I wonder why?? Tonight they play a double header against the Oakland A’s and in the first game they are the favorites. With the pitching matchup being Frankie Montas for the A’s going up against Zack Greinke for the Astros. The Astros have been good in Greinke’s starts this season as they have won four out of his last five starts. I think Oakland’s offense shows up early and takes the first game of this double header. Fade the Houston Astros moneyline for the first game of the double header.

Stay Away:

New York Yankees +1.5 (-175)

Where do I start with this one? Oh I know the New York Yankees have been abysmal as of late; they are 3-7 straight up in their last ten and their pitching staff has been awful. In those ten games; the Yankees have lost those seven games by 2 or more runs in every single game. New York is the team to stay away from until they get their full lineup back. They haven’t been healthy, but that isn’t an excuse to use. Stay away from the Yankees not only today, but for the time being until they get healthy. Unfortunately, it might be too late for them to get into the playoffs if they don’t get healthy quick.
