Lock, Fade And Stay Away (8/31/20)

Lock(s):
Miami Heat +5.5 (risk 1.1u to make 1u)
The Miami Heat are coming off of a series sweep against the Indiana Pacers in their first round matchup. Now in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, the Heat are taking on the Milwaukee Bucks. Miami has been great in the bubble, and without Jimmy Butler for the two’s last matchup held Milwaukee in check for most of the game. Now with Jimmy Butler, I think the Heat have a much better chance in this series. As for Game One tonight, I love the Heat at +5.5 for two reasons.
The first reason is that the Heat can control a game on the defensive end on the floor whenever they want. Second reason is that they want to get back at the Bucks tonight for the embarrasing loss that they gave the Heat in their last meeting. Lock in the Heat at +5.5 tonight as I’m risking 1.1 units to make 1 unit.
Over 6 (Dallas Stars vs Colorado Avalanche) (risk 1.1u to make 1u)
This series has been a hockey fans dream. It has left you on the end of your seats, and has been extremely high scoring the entire series so far. The over has hit in all four games so far, and I think we will see it hit again for the fifth straight time. Look for the Avalanche to try and extend this series to another game. While the Stars are going to put their foot on the throttle to try and make sure that they don’t blow their 3-1 series lead. Lock in the over for this matchup as I am risking 1.1 units to make 1 unit.
Fade:
Cincinnati Reds -115
The Cincinnati Reds were my darkhorse pick at the beginning of the year to win the World Series. Cincinnati has won four out of their last ten, and is really starting to take the turn for the worse. Even with Anthony DeScalfani on the bump for the Reds I am still fading them tonight. I just think the Cardinals lineup is going to smash the ball tonight on all cylinders. Even with Dakota Hudson on the mound who the Cardinals are 1-3 in games that he has started in. I like the Cardinals today. With that being said fade the Cincinnati Reds tonight.
Stay Away:
New York Yankees -1.5 (+140)
Its A TRAP! The New York Yankees have gotten some life as of late, but tonight they play the Tampa Bay Rays who have had their number as of late. New York lost seven straight games, before winning the last three games of their long five game series with the Mets this past weekend. Even with tonight’s pitching matchup being Gerrit Cole for the Yankees going up against Tyler Glasnow for the Rays. I like the Rays to win this game outright, and if they were to lose it would be by a run. So with that logic stay far far away from the Yankees run line tonight.
