If you want the rest of my lock(s) and all of fiesta’s locks make sure you’re following us on twitter (@thechasers617) that is where we give you our lock(s) every single day.
Colorado Avalanche -160
The Colorado Avalanche is one of the hottest teams in all of hockey right now, and they open up their Western Conference Semi-Final series against the Dallas Stars. In Dallas’ series against the Flames was a weird one to say the least, and in game six they scored seven unanswered goals to win the series. Dallas’ offense has been good, but inconsistent at times. While I strongly believe that Colorado is going to be fantastic not only tonight, but for the entire series. The Avalanche I believe also has the goalie advantage with Phillipp Grubauer going up against Anton Khudobin. Khudobin has been alright, but Grubauer has been solid so far for the Avalanche. Lock in the Avalanche to take game one tonight by showing why they are the better team.
Over 223 (Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic)
In game one we had the Magic shoot the lights out, and in game two they were nowhere to be found. If the Magic want to make this a series, then they need to shake off that game two performance and show up today. Even with their offense non-existent in the first half, the Magic made a little bit of a comeback in the second half. The bad thing for the Magic is that the Bucks woke up and if they play like they did in game two it smells big trouble for Orlando. In their last ten meetings the over has only hit two times out of eight games. The over has also hit in 16 out of Orlando’s last twenty games. I expect a lot of offense today, and with that being said I would lock in the over in this one.
St. Louis Cardinals -130
Now as much as I don’t love Wade Miley on the mound for an underdog, while I am fading the favorite. I do think that the Reds are going to win this game tonight. Cincinnati’s offense can be very very good from time to time, and I think that is what we are going to see out of this game tonight. The pitching matchup in this one is Wade Miley for the Reds going up against Kwang Hyun Kim for the Cardinals. I think St. Louis’ lineup tonight will be more of what we saw in last night’s game. I am fading the Cardinals in this one, even with them going up against Wade Miley which is saying something.
Toronto Blue Jays -1.5
Toronto is 6-0 in their last six games, but one thing worrying me about taking them on the run line is this. They have won four out of their last six wins by one run. The runs have been extremely close, and with the Rays being one of the hottest teams in baseball I don’t think the run line for this matchup is the way to go. Tonight’s pitching matchup has Hyun Jin Ryu for the Blue Jays going up against Aaron Slegers for the Rays. Could the Blue Jays win their fourth straight Ryu start? Do I think that they will cover the run line though? Absolutely not, with that being said you should stay far far away from the Blue Jays on the run line tonight.
