Over 49 (Seattle Seahawks vs Philadelphia Eagles) (2.2u/2u)
Both of these defenses give up a ton of points with Seattle’s defense giving up (28.7 PPG) and Philadelphia’s defense giving up (25.4 PPG) this game should comfortably go over. Russell Wilson is going to have a field day tonight against this Eagles defense. While Carson Wentz and company are going to be playing catch up the majority of the game. The over in this game is a must play as both teams are going to put up points tonight. Tonight will either be a real close game or a blow out by Seattle, but the over is a lock. Lock in the over 49 in this one as I am risking 2.2 units to make 2 units in this one.
Indiana Hoosiers -117
Indiana is a relatively young team that will look at tonight’s game against Providence in the Maui Invitational as a stepping stone on how their season will go. The Hoosiers are led by sophomore forward Trayce Jackson-Davis who I believe will finish all Big Ten first team this season. When it comes to his supporting cast around him it isn’t the greatest in my opinion. As Archie Miller has a lot of work to do with this team in order for me to be confident in them.
The Providence team that they are playing have a lot more experience then this young Hoosiers team. Also I don’t know who on Indiana is going to stop David Duke from Providence. While for Jackson-Davis he will have his hands full with being guarded by Noah Horchler and company from Providence. I feel this will be a good game from Providence as I see them winning this game outright. Fade the Hoosiers tonight as I am not fully sold on them yet.
Over 150.5 (Alabama vs Stanford)
This is another Maui Invitational game that I have my eye on tonight as well. The over in this game is not one that I love though. Let’s start with the Stanford Cardinal team that has a solid chance to make some noise in the Pac 12 this season. Stanford is led by freshman Ziaire Williams and senior forward Oscar Da Silva. This is a talented team that will light up the scoreboard.
Now on the other hand we look at Alabama who have a solid starting five, but their bench is lacking the energy in order for me to think of them as a serious team. The Crimson Tide bring in Jahvon Quinerly who never found his footing at Villanova, and is looking to prove how legitimate of a prospect that he is. While you add him to an already talented back court of Jaden Shackelford and John Petty. Alabama’s front court and bench are the real x-factors of this team, because if they don’t contribute then the team will not exceed expectations. Look for Alabama to struggle tonight and for this game to comfortably go under. Stay away from the Stanford Cardinal in this one.
